School
back ground
We believe that the
child’s foundation in learning matters a lot. No child is dull once started in
the right educational foundation. All children are capable of excelling in
academics and they perform depending on their foundation. If the child’s
educational foundation is good and organized, the child will likewise be
academically good and socially organized and the reverse is true.
Ndongo Baptist Nursery and primary school is a Baptist church founded school which was started by the members of Ndongo Baptist church working committees to bring quality education nearer to the community members much as some other schools were there.
NB: Much as
the school is built on a Baptist church foundation, it prepares children for
baptism and confirmation according to their religious denominations.

The next in line is the school management committee,
which is elected by the mother church. The school management committee is
composed of thirteen people. The school management has three committees, that
is, the finance committee, the academic committee and disciplinary committee. In
addition to the three committees, the school has a parents’
teachers association (PTA). The chairperson of the PTA executive is a member of
the management committee.
The school holds an annual PTA meeting while the
other school management committees hold at least one meeting every term. The
headteacher is under the committees and is assisted by the two deputies and six
